Per Erik Larsen

Started making music at the age of 7, figured that guitar was the best instrument for meeting girls, got excited with new technology at the age of 15, first synth a Korg MS-20 (thanks to Sato-san and John for making that piece a reality in software again!). Played in a number of bands, was always the worst musician but always great at the business side of things, gigs, record deals, sponsorships etc. Worked in retail, distribution and manufacturing. Still playing daily, but today mostly children songs with the kids and having an instrument I am more proud of than anything before it, a Steinway from 1905! However, still keeps every version of Cubase, ReBirth and Reason since version 1.0 of each.

Today CEO and founder of MI7 together with what I believe is the best team in Europe, MI7 is today Europe’s fastest growing music partnership company. Previously, Chief Operating Officer at Steinberg Media Technologies AG. Worked with international marketing and sales companies since 1995 and hold board positions with Swedish, German and Japanese companies. In total, More than 15 years experience from the music software industry. Still, more of a normal bloke with a passion for music, friends and family than anything else.

On December 17th I will release my first Solo album “Mindmovie- An Ocean Of Dreams”. If you like progressive rock music, like Pink Floyd, Camel, Alan Parsons or Joe Satriani and if you like guitar orientated rock songs I would be very very happy if you would take the time to visit my page listen to some of the songs and leave me a comment.

I was thinking about getting Reason and after reading it, I think it's maybe the perfect timing for me to get it since it got the new version. Alpha Channel sounds so cool too!
